Access To Health Insurance

Health insurance in America is only provided as a perks to their employees. Those who are unemployed or self employed or part time worker have to bear the expense of their own health insurance cost. There is nothing like universal health care or system exists, however, for elders, disabled people and poorer section of society basic health insurance are provided. Recent study has shown that maximum cause of bankruptcy is due to heavy medical expenses incurred, particularly among middle class groups, who were employed and lost their insurance after loosing their jobs. An effort to provide universal health insurance was strongly opposed by politicians.
